Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor oversees all laundry operations at our conference centre in Doha, ensuring uniforms and linens are clean, well‑maintained, and available for all departments. This role combines inventory management, equipment oversight, and staff leadership to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly inventory of uniforms, linens and laundry supplies, reporting any shortages or faults.
• Operate, monitor and maintain washing, drying and dry‑cleaning machinery, and inspect items for damage.
• Train and coach laundry staff on procedures, safety protocols and equipment use.
• Coordinate with department heads to fulfill laundry requests promptly.
• Assist management with hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, security and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related laundry experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lb and navigate confined or elevated spaces.
