Leak Sealing Technician

About the role

The Leak Sealing Technician performs online leak sealing on pressurised piping systems, valves, flanges, fittings and related equipment while keeping plant operations running. The position requires on‑site assessment, installation of sealing clamps and enclosures, sealant injection and routine equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct online leak sealing activities on high‑pressure piping without shutting down production.
• Assess sites and install leak sealing clamps, enclosures and injection systems.
• Inject appropriate sealants and monitor cure to ensure leak integrity.
• Maintain sealing equipment and perform routine checks.
• Ensure all work complies with client specifications and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI or Trade Certificate in Mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in online leak sealing.
• Background in offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power or other industrial facilities.
• Valid certification in leak sealing techniques.
• Immediate local availability for joining.
