Learning & Development Manager - MultiProperty

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager supports hotels in a designated region by delivering performance development and brand and service-related training. The role plans and runs key learning and leadership development activities, acts as subject matter expert on brand and leadership tools, and ensures required training compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on-property training for hourly associates, supervisors and leaders, including core required and brand training, and prepare thoroughly for each session
• Monitor compliance of required training, including new hire and brand training, and work with HR and Operations Leaders to drive it
• Use myLearning and Reports & Analytics to record and verify training records accurately and on time
• Act as subject matter expert on the Leadership Learning Guide and help HR Leaders run the Management Development & Readiness Process and Voyager programs
• Consult with hotel and department leaders to turn their challenges into learning solutions and align stakeholders with learning priorities
• Apply adult learning principles and adjust delivery to different learning styles and special needs

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years' experience in hotel operations or a related field
• Preferred: 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related major
• Preferred: prior hotel-based hourly generalist or HR manager experience, hotel operations leadership experience, multi-lingual ability, and TC2 (Marriott) or adult learning certification
