Lift Boat Captain – Offshore Qatar

About the role
The company is seeking an experienced Lift Boat Captain to operate DP2 Jack‑Up Barges and lift boats in offshore Qatar. The role involves commanding the vessel, ensuring safe navigation, and managing the crew in compliance with international maritime standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience as Master on offshore vessels.
- At least 2 years experience operating DP2 Jack‑Up Barges or lift boats.
- Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW A‑II/2) and national endorsement.
- Current BOSIET/FOET with HUET and Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate.
Required skills
- DP2 dynamic positioning operation.
- Proficiency with ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems).
- Radar Navigation & ARPA management.
- GMDSS General Operator’s Certificate.
