Lobby Ambassador

About the role

The Lobby Ambassador engages hotel guests in the lobby area, enhancing their experience by activating outlet services, providing local information, and handling special requests. This role is essential for delivering the bespoke, anticipatory service St. Regis is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Activate and promote lobby outlet services such as restaurant, bar, front desk, business center, and lounge.
• Respond to guest requests for transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, and other special arrangements.
• Provide local area knowledge, informing guests about amenities, events, and activities.
• Coordinate with bellpersons, housekeeping, and food & beverage staff to resolve guest issues.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related hospitality experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills, clear professional language, and courteous telephone etiquette.
• Commitment to quality assurance and teamwork.
