Logistics Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Logistics Manager will ensure smooth site operations across complex construction environments. You will coordinate the movement of people, materials, equipment, and activities to support construction progress, minimise disruption and align with project priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all site logistics for large‑scale building projects.
• Oversee material flow, including delivery scheduling, receiving, storage, handling, distribution and just‑in‑time strategies.
• Manage site access control, transportation, lifting operations and traffic management in line with safety and quality standards.
• Develop construction logistics plans covering site layouts, storage zones, lay‑down areas and temporary facilities.
• Coordinate interfaces between procurement, construction teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, construction management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics for large‑scale building construction projects.
• Proven experience developing construction logistics plans and traffic management plans.
• Experience planning crane operations, lifting activities and site access control procedures.
• Valid MMUP/UPDA registration where applicable (preferred).

Required skills

• Construction planning tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• ERP and procurement systems like SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or IFS Applications.
• Material tracking and warehouse management systems – barcode, QR code, RFID, WMS, GPS monitoring.
