Maintenance Analyst (Asset)

About the role

QatarEnergy LNG is looking for a Maintenance Analyst (Asset) in Ras Laffan 2 South. The role provides front-line asset support and carries out asset-related activities under SAP Plant Maintenance, the Maintenance Dashboard and controls statuses, in line with company policies, procedures and the department roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Implement equipment criticality/classification data and equipment strategy tasks based on feedback from asset, engineering and maintenance teams.
• Manage preventive maintenance data, scheduling and season levelling.
• Maintain functional locations and equipment data in SAP PM, including BOM assignment to each piece of equipment.
• Support analytical reports and benchmarking for maintenance senior management, and help implement maintenance optimisation initiatives.
• Support the processing of preventive maintenance change requests and prepare reports for reliability analysis, business continuity, cross-asset and failure reports.
• Support best practices across maintenance, reliability and integrity functions, and evaluate and select new applications for the maintenance department with IT and other departments.
• Help manage roadmaps and strategic plans for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, majoring in engineering.
• 6 years' experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, preferably in routine and shutdown resource planning, scheduling and execution at a petrochemical process or LNG facility.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
