Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team and coordinating all maintenance activities across the facility, ensuring effective and timely execution of repairs and preventive work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead the maintenance team, providing direction and reporting to management on issues, actions taken, and progress.
• Develop, enforce, and monitor maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment, building systems, electrical, and plumbing.
• Organize repairs, preventive maintenance checks, and corrective actions for civil/structural items, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Prioritize maintenance requests, handle emergencies, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently throughout the day.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive and corrective maintenance, service requests, expenditures, and work‑in‑progress.

Required profile

• High School, Vocational Qualification, Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
• Proven leadership ability to manage technicians.
• Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable work visa.

Required skills

• Diagnosis, repair, installation, replacement, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Air‑conditioning (A/C) maintenance.
• Kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of building systems including civil/structural items and plumbing.
• Basic carpentry.
• Preventive maintenance procedures.
• Computer proficiency for maintenance reporting.
