Manager - IT Infrastructure & Operations

A leading organization in Qatar is seeking an experienced Manager – IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead and oversee enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and technology support functions. Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day IT operations including infrastructure, networks, end‑user services, security and data management.
• Ensure availability, performance and reliability of enterprise IT systems and communication technologies.
• Design, implement and deploy new infrastructure solutions and technology services.
• Conduct regular system reviews, identify optimisation opportunities.
• Oversee IT support services and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues.
• Manage relationships with external technology partners and vendors, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Drive a customer‑centric support culture for internal stakeholders.
• Oversee desktop, laptop, telephony, mobile device, video‑conferencing and workplace technology support.
• Lead infrastructure and operational technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Support procurement by preparing technical requirements and evaluating solutions.
• Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco (desirable).
• Minimum 7‑10 years of progressive IT Infrastructure and Operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing enterprise IT environments within large corporate, government or regulated organisations.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, networking, systems administration, endpoint management and service‑management frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft technologies, cloud services, collaboration platforms and enterprise support environments.
• Experience managing third‑party vendors, IT contracts and service‑level agreements.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and engage with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
