Manager - Retail Operations

About the role

This position drives revenue growth by implementing retail SOPs, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple stores. It also leads staffing, training, and team performance while representing the brand through effective leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profitability targets such as units per transaction, average transaction value, sales per square foot, and shrinkage control.
• Guide Area Managers and Store Managers to maximize productivity and reduce operational costs through automation.
• Enforce company SOPs, policies, loss‑prevention audits, and visual merchandising standards across all stores.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff on sales techniques, customer service, and brand standards; conduct performance appraisals and set KPIs.
• Conduct regional sales and operations meetings, provide feedback to managers, and ensure participation in loyalty programs.
• Monitor inventory, manage slow‑moving stock, and collaborate with brand managers and buyers to maximize sales.
• Participate in new store design, layout planning, and project updates, providing guidance to architects and territory teams.

Required profile

• 6–8 years progressive experience in retail operations or business management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead large retail teams, drive sales across multiple store formats, and manage KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
