Marketing & Communication Officer

About the role

The Marketing & Communication Officer works with the regional marketing team and the school's leadership team to run the school's marketing and brand work. The role covers the annual marketing plan, brand consistency, content creation, website and social media, email and CRM, events, offline collateral, word-of-mouth and internal comms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual marketing plan aimed at raising awareness, generating qualified leads, growing and retaining enrolments, and keep it on track while warning stakeholders of risks
• Act as brand guardian so teachers and staff deliver the same clear, consistent messages
• Plan the content calendar across social media, email, website and other touchpoints, and turn school stories into photos and videos
• Write, review and publish marketing content, and keep the school website accurate and functional
• Manage social media, create text, image and video posts, respond to comments and report on performance
• Plan, design and send emails to prospective parents, and optimise them based on performance
• Work with Admissions on the event calendar and promote admissions and retention events by email, WhatsApp, website and social
• Support PR and comms content on an as-needed basis, and plan environmental branding, OOH placements and giveaways
• Gather parent testimonials and manage reviews on third-party sites
