Mechanical Technician - Turbo Machinery

About the role

Mechanical Technician for turbo machinery in continuous operation plants, responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of various equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, blowers, valves, vessels, columns, exchangers, pipes and other static equipment.
• Install, remove and re‑fit pumps and blowers, and maintain rotating equipment.
• Carry out maintenance activities independently, using appropriate tools and safety equipment at height.
• Check work quality, take corrective actions and ensure compliance with standards.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, mechanical drawings and datasheets.
• Clean, preserve and maintain removed equipment parts.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in the relevant trade (12+3 years).
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or fertilizer industry.
• Good HSEQ record in previous employment.

Required skills

• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Installation and removal of pumps and blowers.
• Valve, vessel, column and exchanger maintenance.
• Rotating equipment maintenance.
• Interpretation of isometric and mechanical drawings.
• Use of maintenance tools and safety equipment for high‑elevation work.
