Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote and sell pharmaceutical products to physicians, pharmacists and hospitals within an assigned territory. This position focuses on building strong relationships, delivering product education and achieving sales targets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals across the territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key doctors, pharmacists and hospital decision‑makers.
• Deliver product presentations, seminars and training sessions to enhance product understanding.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to internal teams.
• Plan and organise daily visits, appointments and territory coverage, keeping accurate records of interactions.
• Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs and sales management to implement strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in promotional activities.
• Represent the company at medical conferences and events to network and promote the portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–6 years of proven success in pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory and meet sales targets.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and ethical promotional practices.
