Meeting & Events Executive

About the role

The Meeting & Events Executive coordinates and manages a variety of meetings, conferences, social events and corporate functions, guiding each project from initial inquiry through to successful execution. This role works closely with clients and internal departments to ensure every detail aligns with expectations and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage meetings, conferences, social events and corporate functions from inquiry to execution.
• Prepare event proposals, contracts and banquet event orders (BEOs) and ensure all details are accurately communicated to relevant teams.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements, conduct site inspections and hotel show‑rounds, and build strong relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Work closely with Operations, Culinary, Stewarding and other departments to guarantee smooth event delivery and provide on‑site support when needed.
• Assist in achieving departmental sales and revenue targets and maintain accurate event records and client databases.

Required profile

• Previous experience in meetings & events, event coordination, catering sales or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong communication, organization and customer‑service abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple events under pressure.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and event‑planning processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Opera, Delphi or similar hotel sales and event‑management systems.
