Merchandising Supervisor – Doha

About the role

Arla is looking for a Merchandising Supervisor to lead its merchandising team in Doha, Qatar. You will ensure that Arla’s dairy brands are perfectly presented in stores, following the company’s Perfect Store Principles. The role combines team leadership, in‑store execution and close collaboration with the sales and category teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of merchandisers to achieve excellent in‑store execution.
• Plan, train and follow‑up on merchandising activities to ensure continuous learning and performance improvement.
• Align execution priorities with the Sales Leadership and Category teams.
• Manage merchandisers’ payroll, vacation tracking and route planning for efficiency.
• Drive POSM usage according to strategic guidelines and support promotional events such as Ramadan, Back‑to‑School and festivals.
• Maintain and grow share‑of‑shelf, monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
• Lead expiry management, enforce FIFO principles and conduct periodic expiry checks.
• Track distribution levels, ensure product availability and implement agreed Minimum Shelf Life (MSL) across outlets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a merchandising supervisor in the FMCG sector.
• Proven execution skills and ability to drive results through a team.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication abilities.
• Ability to work closely with sales, category and retail partners.
• Analytical mindset to collect and report market and competitor data.
