Middle Office Analyst

About the role

The Middle Office Analyst supports the Special Projects team at Qatar Stock Exchange, handling periodic processing, reconciliation and reporting of investment, market and operational data. The role blends data‑quality monitoring with the creation of clear, polished presentation materials for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly reconciliation of market positioning and process investment, market and operational data using internal systems and external providers.
• Collect, store and maintain financial and economic data while monitoring data quality and investigating discrepancies.
• Produce weekly initiative status and risk reports, analysing underlying data to ensure accuracy.
• Create board‑level and senior external stakeholder presentation materials that are clear, polished and visually engaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in numbers, graphics and formatting.
• Good awareness of the GCC region, its key public companies and market dynamics.
• Understanding of financial concepts such as traded value, returns and free float.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel (data lookups, sorting, manipulation).
• Highly polished PowerPoint presentation design and visual storytelling.
