MIS Analyst – Retail Collections & Recovery

About the role

The MIS Analyst will support the Retail Collections & Recovery department of an International Banking Group in Qatar. You will be responsible for preparing, distributing and automating a wide range of management information reports and dashboards that drive portfolio performance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual MIS and performance reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for Collections & Recovery KPIs.
• Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, recoveries and collection efficiency.
• Analyze collector, team, agency and legal recovery performance.
• Prepare daily, monthly and yearly write‑off reports and recovery‑after‑write‑off reports.
• Track and analyse write‑off trends, net losses and portfolio movements.
• Upload, update and maintain regulatory reports through the QCB portal.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions in compliance with QCB requirements.
• Receive, consolidate, validate and share reports across Collections, Risk, Finance, Operations and Legal departments.
• Perform data reconciliation and ensure report accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for data collection and reporting requirements.
• Automate manual reports and improve MIS processes and reporting efficiency.
• Support audit, compliance, finance and regulatory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports.
• Ability to develop and maintain KPI dashboards for collections and recovery.
• Experience monitoring portfolio performance, delinquency trends and recovery efficiency.
• Experience preparing write‑off and recovery‑after‑write‑off reports.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting through the QCB portal.
• Strong data reconciliation and validation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Collections, Risk, Finance, Operations, Legal).
• Experience automating manual reports and improving MIS processes.
