About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mooring Master/Pilot to lead safe berthing, un‑berthing and tandem mooring operations on large oil and gas tankers.
Required profile
- STCW 95 Class 1 Deck Officer (Master) CoC with valid Tanker (STCW V/1), BRM/BTM, gas testing and STCW medical certificates.
- Minimum 30 months as Chief Officer or above on AFRAMAX (or larger) tankers and at least 36 months Mooring Master experience, including tandem mooring of vessels above 150,000 DWT.
Required skills
- Valid pilotage certificate/license from the National Competent Authority and pilotage simulator training record.
- Strong knowledge of SPMs, floating hoses, hawsers and tug operations; fluent in written and spoken English.
