Munitions Controller

About the role

The Munitions Controller plans, schedules and monitors maintenance of War Reserve Materiel, including live, inert and dummy munitions, as well as related equipment and facilities. The role ensures compliance with contractual and quality requirements while supporting both peacetime and combat contingencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight of routine and contingency planning, workload and production scheduling for the Munitions Department.
• Monitor facilities, equipment, vehicle and munitions resource status and promptly inform the Munitions Superintendent of issues.
• Manage awaiting maintenance (AWM), awaiting parts (AWP) and TCTO programs, reviewing them weekly.
• Prepare consolidated maintenance and inspection forecasts and schedules, and maintain discrepancy files.
• Enter data and manage documents in TICMS/MC2, ensuring proper routing and compliance.
• Perform stand‑by duties, hazardous operation notifications, and emergency action procedures as required.

Required profile

• Intermediate knowledge of USAF Supply, TMO, munitions and technical order systems or equivalent.
• Four years of experience with military munitions and ability to obtain a Secret US Government Clearance (US citizenship required).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a host‑nation license.
• Physically capable of lifting/pushing/pulling at least 50 lb and able to work outdoors for extended periods.

Required skills

• USAF Supply, TMO, munitions and Tech Order systems.
• TICMS and MC2 information systems.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Operation of material handling equipment.
