Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain security solutions across multiple customer sites. The role involves hands‑on configuration, integration and ongoing support of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion‑prevention systems and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, support and maintain a range of security solutions at diverse customer locations.
• Assist in design documentation, configuration, integration and installation of security products.
• Execute security projects and time‑sensitive tasks with minimal supervision.
• Provide out‑of‑hours coverage for support and change‑management activities.
• Handle service requests (move, add, change, delete) related to security solutions.
• Manage network changes required for security implementations.
• Diagnose complex network performance issues using monitoring tools and packet analyzers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in a system‑integrator environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP (or higher), PCNSA/PCNSE, NSE.
• Strong understanding of networking systems, protocols and technologies including routers, switches, Wi‑Fi, load balancers, firewalls, IP telephony and WAN.

Required skills

• CCNP or higher certification.
• PCNSA or PCNSE certification.
• NSE certification.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
• Experience with Wi‑Fi networks and IP telephony systems.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and Wireshark.
