Network Security Engineer

About the role

The Network Security Engineer will protect Salam Technology’s network infrastructure in Doha, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and services. You will work independently and as part of a team to monitor, analyse and improve the security posture of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and security alerts, producing regular reports.
• Evaluate the current security posture and recommend tools, policies and best practices.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, intrusion‑prevention systems, routers and switches.
• Perform packet capture and deep‑packet analysis to investigate incidents.
• Implement and manage NGFW, APT mitigation, NAC, multi‑factor authentication and VPN solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design secure network architectures.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience with security infrastructure.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

• Next‑generation firewall (NGFW) technologies.
