Operations Team Lead - Field Support Team

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Team Lead for our Field Support Team, reporting to the Offshore Installation Manager and Offshore Area Manager. The role will act as Deputy On‑Scene Commander during emergencies and lead a team of over 100 offshore personnel to safely deliver production.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Deputy On‑Scene Commander in emergency response, ensuring minimal harm to personnel, environment and assets.
• Support the Offshore Team Leader (OTL) in overseeing safe delivery of over 85 k bopd production and related business priorities.
• Develop and review risk assessments, ensuring hazards are identified, mitigations are in place and risk is reduced to ALARP.
• Manage competing priorities of maintenance, production and projects to keep work on schedule.
• Coordinate deployment of the Field Support Team across all locations to meet business priorities.
• Chair the Daily Permit Meeting to guarantee compliance with safety and operational requirements.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to the OIM on performance, opportunities and risks.
• Ensure planned maintenance, inspections, campaigns, projects and workovers are executed according to company standards.
• Motivate and coach staff, fostering a performance culture and supporting succession planning.
• Conduct internal audits of risk management systems and support implementation of company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large offshore teams (100+ personnel) in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, emergency response and oil spill response procedures.
• Ability to analyse operational performance and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary activities such as maintenance, production and projects.
• Leadership skills to motivate staff and drive a culture of safety and performance.
• Capability to conduct internal audits and support compliance initiatives.
