About the role

We are seeking a qualified Ophthalmologist to join our clinical team and provide comprehensive eye care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical interventions. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and disorders of the eyes and visual system.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of specialty practice.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and departmental activities.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialist or consultant qualification in Ophthalmology.
• Valid medical license and eligibility for licensing in Qatar, including surgical privileges.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Ophthalmologist.
• Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills.
