Oracle Financial Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant to own and enhance our finance modules in the Oracle Cloud environment. The consultant will provide L2/L3 functional support, configure modules, and ensure smooth month‑end and year‑end close processes while maintaining compliance with IFRS and regional tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Expenses).
• Configure and maintain chart of accounts, ledgers, business units, legal entities, accounting calendars and Qatar VAT settings.
• Manage Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules, journal line rules and resolve accounting issues.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, reconciliations and financial consolidation hand‑off to Oracle EPM.
• Develop and maintain BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View, Essbase queries, financial dashboards and FBDI/ADFdi upload templates.
• Perform quarterly Oracle Cloud release impact analysis, coordinate UAT and validate finance processes after upgrades.
• Support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Fusion PaaS, VBCS Finance Forms and Oracle APEX reports.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, SOPs, runbooks and audit‑related documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion Financials functional consultant.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes and IFRS compliance.
• Familiarity with Qatar/GCC VAT and tax regulations.
• Experience delivering L2/L3 support and handling month‑end/year‑end close.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including finance, treasury, tax and audit.
