Organizational Development & Workforce Planning Specialist

About the role

The role supports Gulf Drilling International in enhancing organisational design and strategic workforce planning. You will analyse workforce data, maintain organisational charts and contribute to policy and talent initiatives to align resources with business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior HR leaders to implement organisational design strategies, review departmental structures and maintain up‑to‑date org charts and job descriptions.
• Gather workforce needs, maintain headcount and attrition data, develop dashboards and forecasts to identify resourcing gaps and support the annual manpower plan.
• Conduct detailed job evaluations, calibrate assessment tools and manage position title and grade changes following established frameworks.
• Research, draft and update HR policies, ensuring version control and accessibility for employees.
• Create and maintain Excel and Power BI visualisations to report on organisational health indicators and support internal and external audits.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives and foster effective collaboration.
• Perform all activities in line with GDI’s Goal Zero safety initiative and report any incidents or near‑misses.
