Outlet Manager - Food & Beverage

About the role

Sheraton is looking for an Outlet Manager in Doha, responsible for Restaurants, Bars and Room Service. The role covers daily restaurant operations, menu planning support, sanitation standards and helping servers and hosts during peak meal periods, while improving guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage employees, covering their duties in their absence, and review staffing levels against guest service, operational and financial needs.
• Maintain service and sanitation standards in the restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas, and ensure compliance with food handling, liquor laws and applicable regulations.
• Lead the food and beverage team, coach and mentor staff, set goals and priorities, and monitor productivity.
• Oversee financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and invoice payments.
• Manage guest service: handle complaints, collect feedback and ensure service quality from arrival to departure.
• Train staff, develop training programmes, solicit employee feedback and promote fair treatment and retention.
• Assist servers and hosts on the floor during peak periods and supervise shifts in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or a 2-year university degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or a related profession, or 2 years of experience with a 2-year degree.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership and integrity.
