Packaging Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our production team. The role involves operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure products are packaged efficiently and meet quality standards. The successful candidate will work on a fast‑paced floor, handling materials and supporting the overall production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and operate packaging machines according to company standards.
• Inspect finished goods for correct seals, labels and packaging integrity.
• Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting and minor repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete production logs, reports and documentation of any issues.
• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Handle inventory of packaging materials and move completed products to the designated storage area.

Required profile

• Strong manual dexterity for repetitive handling and sorting tasks.
• Technical aptitude to learn and operate automated machinery and basic computer systems.
• High attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
• Physical stamina for standing long periods and moving products.
• Effective communication skills to work within a team and report issues.
