Paint Technician

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Paint Technician position is based in Doha, Qatar. You will prepare vehicle and yacht surfaces, mix and apply paints, and ensure high‑quality finishes in a fast‑paced workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle and yacht surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking and priming to ensure proper adhesion.
• Mix paints according to manufacturer specifications and apply coatings using appropriate tools and methods.
• Perform touch‑ups, refinishing and visual/measurement inspections to verify finish quality and identify defects.
• Coordinate with body‑shop and collision‑repair teams to meet project timelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow safety protocols and material‑handling standards.
• Record materials used and work completed accurately.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as a paint technician, refinisher or automotive/marine painter in a workshop or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and follow technical datasheets, safety instructions and manufacturer guidelines.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity and capacity to stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive refinishing or industrial painting is an advantage.
