About the role
The Pastry Chef will lead the pastry team in creating high‑quality, consistent pastries for all hotel outlets while personally preparing items and driving guest and employee satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, train and supervise the pastry culinary team, ensuring productivity and adherence to standards.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including inventory, purchasing, food safety, and budget compliance.
- Develop new pastry concepts, maintain artistic presentation, and ensure proper storage and handling of all food products.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to guest needs and coaching staff to exceed expectations.
Required profile
- High school diploma/GED with 4 years relevant experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with 2 years experience.
- Proven ability to manage a team, maintain sanitation standards, and operate within a budget.
Required skills
- Advanced pastry baking and decorating techniques.
