PhD Peer Reviewer – Integrative & Complementary Medicine

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD to join our editorial team as part‑time peer reviewers for manuscripts in Integrative and Complementary Medicine. This is a long‑term, stable remote position that allows you to contribute to the scientific quality of published research.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy, and significance.
• Provide constructive, written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers in SCI/SSCI journals published within the last three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
