Physics Teacher (KS3‑KS5) – Doha, Qatar

About the role

QIS is seeking an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to deliver the English National Curriculum to students in Key Stages 3 to 5. You will join a highly regarded secondary team that consistently achieves top results and a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging physics lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to the development of the science department’s curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s high standards of behaviour, attendance and academic achievement.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified teacher with a bachelor’s degree and a PGCE from a reputable university.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of primary assessment practices.
• Passion for physics education, creativity and a professional attitude.
• Team‑player mindset, willing to support colleagues and contribute to school goals.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of the physics content required for KS3‑KS5.
• Ability to design and deliver lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
