Planning Assistant Workshops

About the role

This position supports the Workshop Planning Supervisor/Workshop Engineer in preparing and executing technical plans for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and component packages. The role ensures timely follow‑up with all stakeholders to keep workshop activities on track.

Key responsibilities

• Create workshop packages in TRAX, including work orders, control sheets, worksheets, and repair cards.
• Retrieve component‑specific data such as deferred defects, engineering orders, and repair history from TRAX.
• Review and close released component work packages, update NLA transactions, and transmit technical records for archiving.
• Coordinate with supply chain to monitor parts, materials, tools, and consumables, preventing delays.
• Collaborate with other workshops to ensure on‑time completion of inter‑workshop maintenance activities.

Required profile

• High school/vocational qualification with at least 3 years of job‑related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including apprenticeship.
• Knowledge of workshop fundamentals and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TRAX MRO software.
• Ability to extract and interpret data from CMM, SRM, AMM, Service Bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD).
• Familiarity with workshop documentation such as control sheets, repair cards, and structure repair cards.
