Planning Manager

About the role

Syntys, a leading data‑center provider in the MENA region, is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the development, management and control of integrated project schedules for large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost‑ and resource‑loaded schedules in Primavera P6 aligned with scope and budget.
• Establish WBS structures, sequence activities and create baseline schedules for all project phases.
• Monitor critical path, float and progress, and implement Earned Value Management (EVM) tracking PV, EV, AC, SPI and CPI.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances, provide forecasts and corrective actions.
• Prepare integrated planning reports, S‑curves, dashboards and look‑ahead schedules.
• Develop and monitor resource histograms to ensure optimal utilisation.
• Validate contractor schedules against project requirements.
• Assess risks, delays and change impacts, performing what‑if and recovery schedule analysis.
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in large‑scale construction, infrastructure or data‑center projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Primavera P6 certification preferred; PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
