Plastic Surgeon

About the role

Phi Medcare, a private medical centre in Lusail City, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality surgical and aesthetic care to patients while adhering to local regulations and the centre’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations, document findings, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Use photographs and verbal descriptions to capture patients’ aesthetic goals and set realistic expectations.
• Educate patients on risks, benefits, and outcomes of procedures and provide detailed post‑operative care instructions.
• Assess psychological suitability for cosmetic interventions.
• Perform authorized invasive plastic surgeries, ensuring strict compliance with MOPH guidelines and sterile techniques.
• Inspect operating rooms and instruments for cleanliness and sterility.
• Direct nurses and associate surgeons, and collaborate with other specialists.
• Prescribe medications while considering side effects and contraindications.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with Qatari regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) and a Master’s in Plastic Surgery.
• QCHP license to practice as a Plastic Surgeon.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Strong knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
