Plumber

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Plumber to join the facilities team at our hotel in Doha. The role involves maintaining and repairing plumbing systems to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains and repairing leaks.
• Assemble, cut, thread, and bend pipe sections, tubing, and fittings according to blueprints and specifications.
• Fill pipes or fixtures with water or air to locate leaks and perform preventative maintenance.
• Review building plans, codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs and maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant plumbing experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License and Plumber Certification.

Required skills

• Pipe installation, cutting, threading and bending.
• Leak detection using water or air pressure testing.
• Blueprint and building plan interpretation.
• Installation and maintenance of valves, fittings, appliances and fixtures.
• Use of hand and power tools for plumbing work.
