Plumber – Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Plumber will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, supporting the maintenance team and contributing to departmental performance improvements. Responsibilities include reporting faults to engineers, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) accurately and on time, ensuring equipment reliability.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks promptly, completing them within established deadlines.
• Assist subcontractors with assigned work, providing guidance to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
• Report defects, breakdowns, and spare‑part requirements to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering team without delay.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and adhere to duty rosters, safety, and HSEQ procedures.

Required profile

• Hold an ITI Certificate/Diploma or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA and BS standards.
• Exhibit strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Work effectively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and subcontractors.
