Pool Supervisor

About the role

Al Deera Commercial Real Estate Company is looking for an experienced Pool Supervisor to oversee the daily operation, safety, cleanliness and maintenance of its swimming pool and surrounding areas in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the swimming pool and adjacent facilities.
• Ensure the pool area is clean, safe, organized and ready for use.
• Monitor water quality, including chlorine and pH levels.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment, pumps, filtration systems and repairs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Supervise lifeguards, pool attendants, cleaners and other assigned staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure proper manpower coverage.
• Enforce pool rules and safety procedures professionally.
• Maintain first‑aid kits, lifesaving and emergency equipment in good condition.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents and customer complaints.
• Keep daily records of pool inspections, water‑quality readings and incidents.
• Monitor stock levels of pool chemicals, cleaning materials and operational supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pool operations, hospitality, recreation or facilities management.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of swimming pool operations and water treatment.
• Understanding of health, hygiene and safety procedures.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Lifeguard certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
