PR Account Manager (Strategic Communications)

About the role

We are looking for a PR Account Manager to support the delivery of strategic communications and public‑relations accounts. The role involves day‑to‑day client management, high‑quality execution and coordination across internal teams to translate communication strategies into tangible outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily client communications, priorities, timelines and deliverables, escalating strategic or sensitive matters to the Account Director.
• Develop and implement integrated communications programmes aligned with client objectives.
• Create press releases, speeches, key messaging, Q&As, briefing documents and other executive content.
• Coordinate media relations and stakeholder engagement, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of the regional media landscape.
• Monitor media, stakeholder and industry developments to identify issues, opportunities or emerging risks.
• Support issue and crisis communications through research, messaging development and coordination.
• Oversee account workflows and junior team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Contribute ideas to communications strategies, campaigns, proposals and new‑business pitches.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate or strategic communications, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Proven ability to manage day‑to‑day client relationships and deliver multi‑stream communications programmes.
• Strong understanding of the Qatar and regional media, stakeholder and communications landscape.
• Excellent writing, editing, research and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business or a related field.
