Primary School Teacher (KS1/KS2) – International School

About the role

Newton British School, Al Waab is seeking enthusiastic Primary School Teachers for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will join a supportive, accredited community that follows the English National Curriculum and delivers a balanced, engaging learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the English National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2.
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Integrate IT resources to enhance classroom learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to whole‑school initiatives and a positive school culture.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher – B.Ed or a degree in English, Maths or Science with a PGCE.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Creative, engaging and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork with staff, students and parents.
• Full‑time study documentation (degree transcripts and university letter).
• Compliance with Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education requirements.
• Ability to provide references, police clearances and ICPCs for the past ten years.
