Process Plant Operator – Oil & Petrochemical

About the role

This position is on the front line of process plant operations at two key sites in Qatar – Fahaheel and Julaia. The operator ensures production facilities run within precise limits each shift, directly contributing to recovery and injection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and adjust production equipment under guidance of senior operators.
• Maintain defined operational limits to achieve maximum recovery and injection each shift.
• Continuously monitor plant conditions and make real‑time adjustments as instructed.
• Immediately flag any abnormal readings or conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years hands‑on experience operating process plants in oil or petrochemical industries.
• Completed secondary education (12 years) and at least 3 years of formal technical training in process plant operations.
• Relevant short courses in safety and plant operations or equivalent qualifications.
