About the role
Georgetown University in Qatar is seeking a Procurement Analyst on a temporary, non‑sponsored basis to support its procurement activities for up to six months. The role is onsite in Doha and requires candidates to already have the right to work in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, from requisition review through supplier selection, purchase order creation and documentation.
- Conduct market research, issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate quotations, perform price analysis and negotiate terms within delegated authority.
- Ensure compliance with university procurement policies, maintain audit‑ready records, and support internal controls and year‑end audit activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a higher‑education setting.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with ability to work under tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
- Experience with Workday Financials (preferred).
