Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead Ooredoo Fintech’s end‑to‑end procurement function, ensuring strong governance, commercial value, and regulatory compliance across all sourcing activities. Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, the role supports the business with transparent, cost‑efficient processes that meet financial, operational, and central‑bank requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce procurement governance and compliance policies.
• Lead high‑value procurement initiatives, including direct negotiations and RFP processes.
• Manage vendor performance, due‑diligence, and risk assessments (AML/CFT, data privacy, sanctions).
• Optimize total cost of ownership and drive annual savings and cost avoidance.
• Ensure audit‑ready documentation for all sourcing activities.
• Support business continuity and strategic growth across Fintech markets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in a regulated financial environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement governance, audit compliance, and vendor risk management.
• Ability to deliver measurable cost savings and improve payment terms.
• Experience managing RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier performance.
