Procurement Specialist – End‑to‑End Procurement & Category Management

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for a defined portfolio of materials, equipment and services. The role will drive strategic sourcing, ensure compliance with corporate policies and maintain audit‑ready records within Oracle ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full procurement cycle from purchase request to purchase order, ensuring accurate ERP entries and timely documentation.
• Manage RFQ processes, obtain quotations, support technical and commercial evaluations and prepare award recommendations.
• Develop and own category strategies, monitor market trends, price fluctuations and material availability to negotiate optimal commercial terms.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, operations and contract teams to align requirements, resolve issues and drive contract utilization.
• Identify opportunities to standardize specifications, consolidate spend and improve demand clustering across the portfolio.
• Track procurement KPIs such as PO cycle time, savings and supplier performance, and report risks related to contract ceiling values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Professional certification from CIPS or progress towards it is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Experience working with Oracle ERP procurement and contracts modules.
