Project Assessment Lead Auditor (QHSE)

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Project Assessment Lead Auditor to join a major oil & gas operator in Doha, Qatar. The role will support the Head of Project Management System and work within the Major Projects Execution & Planning Team, ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy LNG standards.

Key responsibilities

• Steward the annual audit plan for Major Projects and NFPS groups, coordinating internal and external reviews.
• Schedule and manage Major Project Reviews (MPR) in line with the Project Management System and related procedures.
• Prepare and present audit and review reports to senior management, driving action plans and closure of findings.
• Assist Internal Audit with planning activities and disseminate key learnings across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, or Project Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project functions within the oil & gas industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and internal auditing standards.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification.
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) – advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
