About the role
An experienced Project Close-Out / Commissioning Engineer is urgently sought to support Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects during commissioning, project close-out, handover and completion. The position is full time in Doha, Qatar, with immediate deployment required; salary is discussed based on experience and suitability.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate commissioning and project close-out activities.
- Prepare, review and maintain project close-out documentation.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, QA/QC and Project teams.
- Monitor completion of punch-list items and support final clearance.
- Support system handover, completion dossiers and turnover documentation.
- Ensure commissioning and close-out follow project requirements and schedules.
- Follow up on outstanding technical and documentation issues until final close-out.
- Assist with final project handover and completion activities.
Required profile
- 5 to 10 years of relevant project experience.
- Degree in any engineering discipline.
- Proven commissioning and project close-out experience, including documentation.
- EPC project experience preferred.
