Project Manager – Building Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale building construction projects in Qatar. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery against contract requirements, budgets, quality standards and approved schedules while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day execution of projects to achieve objectives in line with contractual terms.
• Lead and coordinate engineering, construction, commercial, planning, procurement and client‑interface activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions and mitigate delays or cost overruns.
• Manage project risks, contractual matters and stakeholder expectations.
• Secure approvals from consultants, clients, subcontractors and local authorities.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, authority requirements and company HSE policies.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Promote a high‑performance culture focused on safety, quality and delivery excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of overall construction experience and at least 5 years as a Project Manager on major building projects.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale residential, mixed‑use, commercial, hospitality or institutional developments.
• Strong GCC construction experience, preferably with Tier‑1 contractors.
• Valid MMUP/UPDA registration where applicable.
• Experience working in the UAE and willingness to relocate to Qatar immediately.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
