Project Manager – Digital Banking

About the role

The Project Manager – Digital Banking will lead end‑to‑end digital banking initiatives, covering mobile and internet banking, digital onboarding, and payments, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches, tracking progress, risks, and issues while reporting status to senior management.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business, IT, product, security, risk, compliance, vendors and FinTech partners, managing SLAs, scope changes and steering committee updates.
• Maintain RAID logs, ensure compliance with QCB/GCC regulations, cybersecurity, data residency, AML/KYC and consumer protection, and oversee SIT, UAT, penetration testing, audits and go‑live readiness.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and resource allocation to guarantee successful project delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in digital banking, FinTech or financial services technology.
• Proven track record of launching a mobile or internet banking solution or a major release.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑ACP or CSM certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• Fluent Arabic and strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of core banking systems and APIs.
• Experience with digital onboarding (eKYC) and payment systems.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile tooling such as Jira, Confluence and MS Project.
• Understanding of testing cycles including SIT and UAT.
