Project QAQC Manager - Offshore

About the role

We are seeking a Project QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities for offshore EPC projects in the oil & gas sector. The role requires strong technical expertise and leadership to ensure compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Lead multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and coordinate with clients, contractors and third‑party inspectors.
• Conduct quality audits, manage NCRs/CAPAs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in EPC oil & gas projects, including at least 5 years in a QA/QC lead role.
• Proven experience on major offshore oil & gas projects.

Required skills

• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System knowledge.
• Familiarity with EPC quality processes.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards: ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, NACE.
• Welding inspection and NDT techniques (RT, UT, MT/MPI, PT).
• Fabrication, piping, pressure vessels and mechanical quality control.
• Development of Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Quality audit execution and NCR/CAPA management.
