About the role
This position is based in Qatar within the oil and gas sector, supporting integrated shutdown planning across project scopes during pre‑shutdown, shutdown and post‑shutdown phases. You will work closely with project management, maintenance shutdown teams and contractors to ensure schedule integrity and delivery performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and align integrated hourly shutdown schedules, ensuring logical sequencing and resource loading.
- Perform critical‑path and near‑critical‑path analysis, generate progress reports and support recovery plan development when delays occur.
- Review contractor deliverables such as schedules, productivity rates, workforce and equipment plans, and provide feedback.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of multi‑discipline project planning and scheduling experience in oil & gas.
- Proven experience in shutdown planning across all phases, including clash reviews and progress reporting.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong written and spoken English.
