Projects Manager – IFEC & Connected Cabin

About the role

The Projects Manager – IFEC & Connected Cabin will lead the delivery of Qatar Airways’ inflight entertainment, connectivity and cabin‑wide digital initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to turn product concepts, user journeys and content strategies into operational capabilities across the fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project governance, including milestones, approvals, risk management and issue escalation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date detailed project plans, schedules, action logs and delivery trackers aligned with the integrated programme.
• Coordinate scope, requirements, resources, dependencies and deliverables for new passenger‑facing features, seat‑back user experience improvements and connectivity services.
• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, budget and quality, raising issues to appropriate authorities.
• Support planning and tracking of fleet‑wide deployment dependencies.
• Translate approved product concepts into clear delivery milestones, testing activities and implementation plans.
• Ensure passenger experience, accessibility, brand standards and operational needs are visible throughout execution.
• Organise demonstrations, design reviews, user validation sessions and stakeholder approvals, documenting decisions and actions to closure.
• Plan launch activities and product communications for new or enhanced IFEC and Connected Cabin capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong ability to work with product owners, internal and external stakeholders to translate business cases into actionable plans.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure clear documentation and stakeholder alignment.
